The Doctor's interior
BratislavaThe basic requirement of the clients was that the interior should radiate a feeling of home and security. The warmth of a home is the most valuable factor for investors in the entire interior. As both clients work as doctors, they spend their entire days in very impersonal environments in hospitals. Therefore, it was important to create an interior that would create a feeling of home. The main elements are natural materials. The most used material in the interior is wood. The living room is designed in pale shades of oak plywood with solid oak parquet floors. The accessories consist of designer pieces of furniture. The kitchen and living room wall is designed as a unit, which holds everything that is necessary for living in the living room and kitchen. A built-in TV in a raster cabinet is a variant interior design solution. The continuation of the kitchen cabinets under the windows is formed by a residence bench. The wood is complemented by fabric as the main accessory, whether on the sofa or the kitchen chairs. The curtains are a complement to the whole interior. The study is designed again from natural materials - wood. However, the colour of the wood is dark, which is a direct contrast to the pale oak floor. The principles used in the living room are carried over to the office.
