The interior is based on the principle of Work and Living In the designed space there is a residential unit with a commercial unit, which was designed with the changing function of a tattoo studio and beauty studio. The interior design is based on a concept that was created in collaboration with the investor. The main points of the concept are to use natural materials with a high emphasis on the fact that in the future many plants will be added to the apartment. The interior is meant to look mature - for mature personalities who work in the art sector. The comfort of the apartment is to be achieved with natural materials and the plants and flowers supplied. The restoration of furniture from the communist era is very welcome. This principle is applied to the armchair, the coffee table and the table under the television. Minimalism is meant to bring the whole concept together in one graceful tone that will connect the living unit and the tattoo studio. Both of these spaces are designed differently. In the interior of the apartment, the warmth of the home and the investors' preferences are clearly visible, while in the tattoo studio, the clients' feeling and their preferences have been kept in mind. The tattoo studio/beauty studio is designed as a unisex space to please the human senses with a pleasant atmosphere. The residential unit is designed as a cozy haven for life where you can hide away from all the troubles of the world. The huge dining table is the heart of the apartment and, in combination with the sofa, forms the main social elements in the living area. The windowless room and the room in the duplex area are designed in the Spartan style (mattress with bedside table). The greenery abounding everywhere creates the character of a pleasant environment in which you will want to live. The main materials used are wood and concrete.

Tattoo studio/beauty salon

The tattoo and beauty studio is in the northern part of the space. The commercial unit with the residential unit are located on the ground floor of the apartment building. The tattoo studio is thus adequately positioned as an advertising spot. So is the proposed interpretation of the tattoo studio. People in the space can see out, but people outside cannot see in. The commercial space will have the ongoing function of a tattoo studio with the possibility that it may be transformed into a beauty studio. This was also subject to the design. The proposed space is designed to be unisex, for both male and female clientele. There is a hallway at the entrance to the business unit, followed by a corridor that leads to the residential unit. On the other side is the entrance to the tattoo studio, which is adjoined by a warehouse where all the things needed for a tattoo studio and eventual conversion to a beauty salon are located. There is a small bathroom attached to the business unit.

Residential part

The residential unit is located in the southern part of the apartment. The entrance to the apartment unit is solved by divided wardrobes in the tattoo studio. In the housing unit there is a hallway, living room, kitchen with dining room, bedroom with bathroom and a mezzanine where the guest bed is located. The main materials used in the interior are wood, metal and concrete. These materials are complemented by a number of plants. The main concept behind the design of the space was that the investors are in their prime productive years and want peace, quiet and time to relax in their home. It is meant to be an oasis of peace and tranquility where you come to unwind from the busy city. The heart of the interior is the large dining table where most of the socializing will take place. As a secondary to this element is a huge sofa that separates the space and creates a relaxing calm. We consider the possibility of separating the day room with a curtain a good move that separates the bedroom and the living room. The bedroom with the mezzanine are designed very simply.
